PCS SPORTS TOP 15 NBA DRAFT PROSPECTS

1. Anthony Davis- Center-Kentucky (6'10"/220lbs)

The expected number one pick is long, athletic and the best defensive player in the draft bar none. Has great size, but needs to add muscle. Runs the floor extremely well and has good range on the offensive end. Needs to develop a better back to the basket game. Excellent rebounder and shows good footwork. His defensive presence is his biggest attraction, but he can develop into a standout Power Forward in the NBA.

2. Michael Kidd-Gilcrest-Forward- Kentucky (6'7"/210lbs)
Does so many things well, but none excellent. He is a big Small Forward who is an excellent perimeter defender. Incredible athlete that can finish at the rim. Great rebounder with a motor that does not stop. Needs to develop as a perimeter scoring threat.

3. Thomas Robinson-Forward-Kansas (6'9"/237lbs)
Excellent rebounder and incredible athlete. A little undersized for the Power Forward position, but is strong enough to be an effective post defender. Has a nice 15"-17" jumper that needs to be guarded, but sometimes fall in love with it. Could use some polishing on his post game but a great player with great character. I really like Thomas Robinson.

4. Andre Drummond-Center-Connecticut (6'11"/275lbs)
NBA ready body right now. Great post defender and rebounder and incredible athlete. Sometimes seems disinterested on the court, which could bring in to question some work ethic issues. Taking Drummond this high is based primarily on potential, but he has a high ceiling if he wants it.

5. Brad Beal-Guard- Florida (6'5"/195lbs)
Deadly shooter from the 3. Average size for a NBA Shooting Guard. Averaged 6.7 rebounds per game as a Freshman which is very impressive for a Guard. Understand the game very well and spaces the floor well. Could be a bit of a tweener, but should be a productive scorer. Some say the next Ray Allen, but that obviously best case scenario.

6. Perry Jones III-Forward- Baylor (6'11"/235lbs)

A lot of hype has surrounded PJIII, has great length and a great athlete, but just not a lot of production. He looks great on paper, but just does not wow you when you watch him play. Impressive rebounder and runs the floor as good as I've seen. To unselfish on the offensive end and does not assert himself. Shows great range for his size and should develop into a good NBA Power Forward

7. Harrison Barnes-Forward-North Carolina (6'8"/210lbs)
If PJIII has a lot of hype Harrison Barnes had tons. Coming out of high school believed to be the best thing since sliced bread and was said to be the unanimous number one selection when he decided to come out. His UNC career was below expectations but Barnes is a smart, big, strong scorer who can defend a number of positions. Does not have blow by speed or athleticism but is still a good athlete. Inconsistency from one game to another is a concern. Needs to improve on creating his own shot as well as his ball handling. Could potentially be one of the best players in the draft or just a solid rotation guy.

8. Damian Lillard-Guard- Weber State (6'2"/185lbs)

The best Point Guard in the draft is a straight up scorer. Averaged 24.5 ppg on 46% shooting, 41% from three. Can get to the rim and finish. Athletic enough to be a good perimeter defender Needs to work on seeing the floor better get his Assist numbers up but that should come with playing with overall better talent than what he played with at Weber State.

9. Dion Waiters-Guard-Syracuse (6'4"/215lbs)
One of the best scorers in the Draft. Good range, can score from anywhere, but is undersized for a Shooting Guard. Effective getting to the rim and finishing. Could play some point but I see him as more of a scoring Shooting Guard. Love his energy and his motor. Always wants to be the best.

10. Jeremy Lamb-Guard/Forward-Connecticut (6'5"/185lbs)

Good athlete with good leaping ability allows Lamb to be a great defensive player. Shows the ability to move without the ball and understand the flow of the game. Needs to improve his strength and consistency shooting the ball from midrange out. He can make shots from all over, but he can be very hit or miss.

11. Tyler Zeller-Center-North Carolina (7'0"/250lbs)

Love his size and his rebounding ability. Excellent post defender and knows how to use is length to block or alter shots around the rim. Has a solid 15" jumper and could develop a 17"+ range. He needs to get stronger to hold his own on the block. Moves with great fluidity and can run the floor extremely well for a 7-footer.

12. John Henson-Center-North Carolina (6'10"/210lbs)

Great size but needs to work on his build. He is an effective defender who can alter shots extremely well. Has a fluid post game and can score on the block and even stretch it out to around 12+ feet. Absolutely outstanding athlete who was one of the better rebounders in the nation.

13. Jared Sullinger-Forward-Ohio State (6'8"/280lbs)
Extremely strong physical big man who uses his size and lower body strength to get deep position on the block. Knows how to use his frame to get positioning to be an effective rebounder. Conditioning can come into question and will by no means wow with athleticism. Height wise is undersized for his position at Power Forward, but his strength, frame, and competitive drive should allow him to continue to be effective.

14. Terrence Jones-Forward-Kentucky (6'8"245lbs)

Great size and great strength. Has a good motor and loves the spot light but can lead to some poor body language. Has nice range and can stretch the floor well but sometimes falls too much in love with his outside game. Needs to find a position, whether that a Small Forward or Power Forward. Great defender, passer and ball handler. Not an overly wowing athlete but can surprise you. Has a few hick-ups in his shot motion.

14. Kendall Marshall-Guard-North Carolina (6'4"/188lbs)

Heady Point Guard who sees the floor extremely well. Pass first guard who knows who to get the ball to. When he broke his wrist in the ACC tournament, UNC's offense stalled at times and looked somewhat lost. Improving shooter with a high IQ. Not a great athlete but plays smart and is very effective.

15. Austin Rivers-Guard-Duke (6'4"/200lbs)

The number one recruit out of high school for the class of 2011. Came out too early in my opinion and needs to work on moving without the ball. Great ball handler and a very impressive scorer with great range. Not the best perimeter defender which could be problematic if not improved. Needs to further improve his ball handling and his sharing of the basketball. Could have benefitted greatly from an additional year in school but will test the waters in the NBA.
